Our Pastoral Team
Rev. Johanes Widjaja
HEAD PASTOR
Rev. Johanes ‘David’ Widjaja has led NLICC since June 2005. He was called to life as a pastor from a young age and moved in faith from his home city, Jakarta, Indonesia to Sydney, Australia with his wife, Ana. He has led our church for the past 30 years and is a leader by example, a faithful man of God and a fisher of men and women. When not preaching on Sundays, he is most often found with his family or drinking a latte in his garden.
Ps. SEAN MA
INTERNATIONAL CONGREGATION pastor
Sean first joined the pastoral team in 2020. Mainly raised in South Korea, Sean returned to Australia in 2017 where he became a Christian. Soon after, he enrolled in Morling Bible College where he completed a Bachelor of Theology at the end of 2021. He is passionate about molding young people to be more like Christ. When not preaching, you can find him exercising at home.
Ps. SAMUEL PRASETYo
ASSISTANT PASTOR
Samuel Bambang Prasetyo has been the Assistant Pastor for our Indonesian-speaking congregations since 2023. Samuel finished his Master of Theology in 2021 and after marrying his wife, Linda, he moved from their home town—Jakarta—to Sydney, Australia. His mission is to equip the saints for ministry and to build up the body of Christ. When not preaching, he can be found hanging out somewhere with his wife.
